Upskill Australia is a registered training organisation (RTO) that will change the way you see vocational education.
In 1974 the Kangan Report was published, which challenged vocational education providers. He outlined a system that was based on the individual, not the group.
“The main purpose of education is the betterment and development of individual people and their contribution to the good of the community. Technical and further education should be planned accordingly. Emphasis on the needs of the individual should lead to easier access to learning, to facilities, and to higher standards of health and safety.”

Upskill Australia aims to provide appropriate pathways for individuals to gain a recognised qualification in their chosen vocational area. This is done through our system of recognition, skills auditing and individualised training.
Individual training recognises the uniqueness of learners. It supports the idea that there may not be a homogeneous background within a client group and so achieves its mission by meeting individual needs and providing individual training plans and learner pathways. We work with individuals because within organisations, industry and communities it is the individual who will need personalised recognition of prior learning, current competency, assessment and training delivery plans.
However, it is important that the employer/supervisor supports and participates in the training process to ensure the highest quality outcomes. To assist this our organisation works in partnership with employers/enterprises in order to provide appropriate and timely training. Students are trained in the workplace doing real work, learning real and relevant skills supported by underpinning theory.
Our trainers and assessors are all qualified and experienced in the areas in which they train. They look forward to providing the best and bringing out the best in the learner, for the workplace and the industry sector.
